Hi! My name is Leslie Satterfield.

I’m a filmmaker and photographer — and a lover of images both moving and still. I studied photography and filmmaking in San Francisco, London, and Amsterdam before completing my BFA in Fine Art Photography and Film from the Savannah College of Art and Design.

My first film was an official selection of Sundance, and my short films have screened at festivals internationally. Commercial clients have included Interview Magazine, Ford Models and Art in America. Since 2009, I’ve been the primary cinematographer and creative director of Kiss the Bride Films, a Brooklyn-based wedding cinematography studio, creating literally hundreds of wedding films for our New York clients enabled me to work along side most of NYC best photographers, which has given me a unique training that most photographers could only dream of.

This valuable experience of learning the tricks and trades from a vast variety of wedding photographers in NYC along with a natural love of capturing the excitement between two people is what I bring with me as a photographer.

Lovers & Dreamers was born of my desire to spend more time at my home in Joshua Tree California.
